Orders & Shipping
How do I place an order?
Browse our shop, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
Do you ship nationwide?
We ship within the contiguous United States. Because our products are perishable, we use insulated packaging and expedited shipping to ensure freshness on arrival.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–3 business days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect — what do I do?
We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us at 5jkitchen.tx@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will make it right.
Products
Are your products made fresh?
Yes. Every product is handcrafted in small batches. We deliberately cap production to ensure freshness and quality — we'd rather sell out than compromise.
How should I store the butter?
Keep refrigerated and consume by the date on the package. Compound butters can also be frozen for up to 3 months — wrap tightly in parchment and place in a zip-lock bag.
Where do you source your dairy?
Our cream comes from a single small-herd dairy within 50 miles of our kitchen — pasture-raised and family-owned. We've worked with the same partner since day one.
Do you use preservatives or artificial ingredients?
Never. No stabilizers, no gums, no artificial anything. If it doesn't belong in your grandmother's kitchen, it doesn't belong in ours.
Allergens & Dietary
Do your products contain dairy?
Yes. All of our products contain dairy. They are not suitable for those with dairy allergies or lactose intolerance.
Are your products gluten-free?
Our butters and dairy products do not contain gluten ingredients, but they are made in a kitchen that handles wheat. We cannot guarantee they are free from cross-contamination.
I have a severe allergy — can I still order?

Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are final. However, if something is wrong with your order we will always work to make it right — just contact us.
What if a product is out of stock after I order?
If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll contact you promptly to offer a suitable substitute or a full refund.
